Snakadaktal Release Unheard Music Following Split

Following yesterday’s surprise announcement of the dissolution of the band, Melbourne indie pop five-piece Snakadaktal have unveiled a collection of “unreleased tracks / recordings / demos / studio experiments / ideas” titled Treasures (2010 – 2014) via Bandcamp, as a thank-you to fans.

“In appreciation and acknowledgement of the wholehearted love you have given us in the last day, we want to share this with you. We want to thank you. This is for your ears… An insight to Snakadaktal. Unreleased tracks / recordings / demos / studio experiments / ideas,” they write.

The band shocked fans yesterday when they announced their split in a short post made to their official Facebook account. “It saddens us to share with you that Snakadaktal has come to an end… Today, collectively, we feel that it is time to move onto different pursuits,” they wrote.

Earlier today, the band announced a one-off farewell show, which will take place at Melbourne’s famed Northcote Social Club on Saturday, 29th March, with support from electronic four-piece City Calm Down and Alan Palano. Tickets are on sale now via the Northcote Social Club website.
