The Black Keys Announce New Album ‘Turn Blue’ Via Mike Tyson’s Twitter

American rock duo The Black Keys have utilised the Twitter account of former heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson to announce their eighth studio album, Turn Blue, which is currently set for release internationally on 13th May.

Tyson tweeted a link to a YouTube video titled Turn Blue, which features and hypnotising spinning coloured vinyl and one very, very creepy “therapist”. At the end of the clip, the album’s title and release date are revealed.

Two other strange teasers have been posted on the same YouTube account, which Music Feeds readers can watch below. The Black Keys’ Drummer Patrick Carney has also shared some blue love on his Instagram account, with pictures of blue people, characters and even blue thread lubricant.

Turn Blue, which was expected to be finished before March, follows the band’s generally well-received 2011 release El Camino. Revolt are reporting that the band’s new single Fever will be revealed on US rock radio this coming Monday, 24th March.
