The Black Keys Share Title Track From New Album ‘Turn Blue’

American rock duo The Black Keys have shared the laid-back title track from their forthcoming eighth studio album Turn Blue, following on from previous single Fever.

Compared to the rock’n’roll swagger of Fever, Turn Blue is steeped in sleepy psychedelia. Against a slow-sweeping guitar line and some synth-strings, frontman Dan Auerbach sings, “When the music is done and all the lights are low, I will remember the times when love would really glow.”

The Black Keys announced the release of their next album in March this year, harnessing the Twitter account of former boxer Mike Tyson, as well as some very creepy teaser videos in order to share the good news. The band’s Danger Mouse-produced follow-up to 2011’s album El Camino will be released internationally on 13th May.

Always keeping his fingers in multiple musical pies, Auerbach was recently confirmed as a producer for the next highly anticipated Lana Del Rey record, Ultraviolence, which yesterday revealed its first single West Coast.
