Hot off the heels of her recent 90’s inspired mixtape, pop goddess Kimbra has released her latest single 90’s Music, which as the name suggests is another tip of the hat to the decade we are all now recognising as the coolest, ever.
It’s no secret that Kimbra hit the Rolodex hard and hit it hard for her new full-length album, landing on Muse’s Matt Bellamy who has provided his guitar skillz for the track. Bellamy left his usual sweeping, atmospheric soundscapes at the door, attacking this particular ‘chune with a far more, well, ’90s state of mind.
So far, the currently untitled album is proving to be so many things featuring so many great minds. More information on the record is sure to be revealed upon Kimbra’s Australian tour with Janelle Monae kicking off later this month.
