Flume and Lorde have been the two antipodeans on the lips of music fans, industry personnel, and bloggers the world over for a while now, so some form of collaboration seemed a longtime coming. And while Flume’s remix of Lorde’s Tennis Court was sublime, it was missing one crucial element.
The ever-creative folks at Pilerats have now taken care of Flume’s careless omission by releasing a ‘Yeah Goat Remix’ of Flume’s Tennis Court remix. Had the young producer played this version in front of his Coachella crowd last month, there’s no telling what kind of heights he could’ve reached.
If you’re not familiar with the original remix and all of its silky, hand-clappy splendour, then you probably only got the internet today or something. In any case, you can check it out along with the original ‘Yeah Goat’ clip and, of course, Pilerat’s epic new combination of the two modern classics.
