Due to overwhelming demand American pop-rock trio Hanson have announced two extra shows to their upcoming Australian tour. Hanson will be hitting the country on their Anthem World Tour this August, celebrating the recent release of their sixth studio album, Anthem.
Audiences in Sydney and Melbourne will now get another chance to catch the famed siblings, the brothers announcing an extra show in Melbourne at The Hi-Fi on Sunday 10th August, and an extra show in Sydney at The Hi-Fi on Wednesday 13th August.
Anthem, which was reportedly slowed by sibling tensions within the band, was produced and written by the band, and mixed by Tom Lord-Alge. The band have toured in support of the album over the last 12 months, playing in North America, Latin America and Europe.
Fan club pre-sales for the new shows will go on sale Monday, 12th May at 12pm, with general public tickets on sale Wednesday, 14th May at 9am.
