After months of speculation and a series of teases American pop star Lana Del Rey has officially announced the release date of her second album, Ultraviolence. The new full-length record is set to be released in the UK this June 16th, with international releases expected soon after.

Along with the much anticipated date, Del Rey also revealed the album’s artwork, a black and white photo of the singer, that seems to be a decidedly more casual affair then the cover art for her 2012 debut Born To Die.

A “Collectors Box” edition of the record, with a deluxe LP picture disc on heavyweight vinyl, adDeluxe CD digipack and 4 art prints, is also due for release. Ultraviolence sees Del Rey team up with unlikely collaborator, The Black KeysDan Auerbach who offered his producing ear and Nashville studio to the songstress.

Last week, Del Rey took to social media to reveal the full track list for her upcoming record, filled to the brim with some very Lana Del Rey-esque titles that perfectly articulates her crafted media persona. Songs include, Old Money, Fucked My Way Up to the Top, Money Power Glory, Sad Girl, The Other Woman, Shades of Cool and Cruel World.

Del Rey has already teased Ultraviolence with the single West Coast, the video for which was also unveiled last week. The black and white visual feast, is a whole lot of Lana Being Lana, rollicking on Californian beaches with beautiful boys taking long drags from endless cigarettes.
