Jurassic 5 have unleashed their first new track in 8 years and, like a kamehameha of nostalgia, The Way We Do It will transport you back to the day when Jurassic 5 reigned supreme, and within a few more seconds it becomes overwhelmingly clear that they still do, goddamn it.
The original members of the formative hip hop crew are back together and fighting fit. Keeping things fresh, they have sampled the 2005 White Stripes track My Doorbell off which you’ll recognised instantly. The track is apparently produced by Heavy D who passed away back in 2011 suggesting this has been in the pipelines for some time now.
Signs of life are strongly emitting from within Jurassic 5. The Way We Do It has dropped just before the original members all meet up once again for a run of 5-live shows throughout the UK.
