Classic Album Covers Get The Pop-Culture Parody Treatment

Ript Apparel have unveiled a new series of prints which parody classic album covers using various characters from pop culture, appropriating classic albums from Weezer, Radiohead, My Chemical Romance and Nirvana with characters from The Simpsons, The Justice League, Pokemon, Lord of the Rings and Adventure Time.

Some of the other classic albums given the pop-culture treatment are Rage Against The Machine‘s Evil Empire, which now features Shaggy from Scooby-Doo, and Smashing PumpkinsMellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness, which now features loveable Nintendo character Kirby in Kirby And The Final Smash.

The new designs, which are available on a variety of products including Bluetooth speakers, prints, headphones, coasters, and laptop sleeves, were created and submitted by a very talented community of artists. Check out Ript Apparel’s Album store here, and a gallery of some of the parodies below.
