One of hip-hop’s biggest gathering, Hot 97’s Summer Jam 2014, hasn’t passed without controversy. Notorious grudge-holder 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, and his Queens rap-crew G-Unit have reportedly robbed and beaten a fellow rapper shortly after reuniting onstage.

Footage has emerged of the incident (below) which took place at MetLife Stadium in the U.S. city of East Rutherford yesterday. Revolt are reporting that during G-Unit’s performance, a scuffle took place side of stage which was blocked from the live stream cameras.

According to XXL Mag, Slow became angry because security wouldn’t let him join G-Unit on stage. Members of the crew reportedly tried to calm Slow down and escort him off stage, but Slow explained that he has a problem with one of 50 Cent’s entourage.

During the scuffle members of the Slowbucks outfit were beaten down and robbed of one of their gold chains, AllHipHop reports.

Pedestrian have noted that 50’s gripe with Slowbucks escalated when the group posted a photo to Instagram (below) around a month ago of themselves with 50’s estranged son Marquis Jackson. 50 later commented on the photo, saying “this picture was a bad idea”.

An industry source has also told Examiner that “this all started from 50 Cent’s son and Slowbucks smoking weed together,” and that when 50 saw the proof he said, “Wrong move.” According to the source, someone punched Slow in the face during the altercation, knocking him to the ground.

In the time around G-Unit’s performance, 50 Cent posted his own photo to Instagram (below), with the caption, “Things go the way I say they go. Now I think it’s time we get busy.”

The cred 50 and his crew have accumulated through this incident will no doubt help heal the wounds of Jackson’s recent attempt at throwing a baseball.
