On the back of their highly-acclaimed fourth LP and recent triple j feature album Nabuma Rubberband, Swedish electronic five-piece Little Dragon are returning for some shows on Australian shores in 2014.
After recent televised performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Later with Jools Holland, plus a mesmerising set in the Indio desert at Coachella, Little Dragon will be heading to Australia for two intimate headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne this August.
Nabuma Rubberband was released on 13th May this year and features Little Dragon’s stunning single Klapp Klapp. The album follows the band’s 2011′s critically acclaimed full-length release Ritual Union.
Departing from the band’s earlier, dancier style, the group have said the new record focusses more on “Janet Jackson slow jams [frontwoman Yukimi Nagano] used to listen to wandering around Gothenburg during the unrelenting winter.”
