Winning the Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role wasn’t enough for consummate performer Neil Patrick Harris. Going the extra mile to steal the show, NPH put on a blistering musical performance, even getting up close and personal with some show biz greats.
“A year ago I was hosting the Tonys, this is crazy-pants,” said the three-time Emmy Award winner when he collected his first ever Tony for playing the lead in a new Broadway production of Hedwig and the Angry Itch. But “crazy-pants” could be better suited to what he did to Samuel L Jackson.
During a performance of the song Sugar Daddy, NPH did the rounds through the crowd, thrusting his crotch into Orlando Bloom‘s face (it’s called the “car wash”), licking Samuel L Jackson’s glasses, giving Sting an impromptu lap dance, and finishing off by kissing real-life husband David Burtka.
