Weezer Announce New Album ‘Everything Will Be Alright In The End’

Every Wednesday for the past few months, Weezer have shared with fans short and cryptic videos teasing their return to the studio and this week was no exception. The band officially announced the title of their ninth studio record, Everything Will Be Alright In The End, by way of another short clip.

The album serves as the follow-up to 2010’s Hurley and will be produced by Cars frontman Ric Ocasek, who previously worked with the Los Angeles rockers on 1994’s Blue Album and 2001’s Green Album.

Previous Weezer Wednesday videos have featured previews of music from the upcoming record. The latest tracks to be partially released via black-and-white videos are Ain’t Got Nobody and The Waste Land, both of which you can view below.

Weezer are currently in the midst of a North American tour, out on the and catching frisbees mid-tune like legends. No word on a release date for the new album.
