Eminem has taken to Twitter to preview a new collaboration with Adelaide singer-songwriter Sia. The rapper teased the track by sharing the trailer to the upcoming movie The Equalizer, starring Denzel Washington and Chloe Grace Moretz, in which the presently untitled collaboration features.
While we’re not treated to any new bars from the rap god, we do get a snippet of Sia singing lines like, “Afraid I will never find a way out, so here I am and I will not run“, before Em cuts in to flex his own vocal muscle, over a beat that’s reminiscent of the opulent, cinematic sound of Em’s MMLP2.
The 2013 album featured Sia’s first collaboration with Eminem on the bonus track Beautiful Pain. The song netted the quirky singer-songwriter some controversy after she came under fire by LGBTQ groups critical of her association with the rapper, whose lyrics they claimed are homophobic.
