Spiderbait Add Second Melbourne Show To National Tour

Australian rock and roll monoliths Spiderbait have announced the addition of a second Melbourne show to their August national tour. After selling out their first Melbourne show in a matter of hours, the second gig will now take place at the famed Corner Hotel in Richmond on Sunday, 31st August.

Tickets for Spiderbait’s first national headline tour in a decade went on sale at 9am AEST this morning and Melbourne fans quickly exhausted the allocation for the band’s Friday, 29th August performance. It just goes to show the impact that the Finley trio still have on Australian audiences.

From the humblest of beginnings as a wayward garage band making a ruckus in the tractor shed on bass player Janet English’s family farm, Spiderbait now stand as elder statesmen of Aussie rock and roll. They’ll be bringing career-spanning sets to venues in Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, and more.
