Melbourne’s Illy seems to be a little smitten with regional Victoria. Having just played a headlining performance in Mildura for triple j’s One Night Stand, the magnetic MC has now announced a series of regional tour dates across the state throughout September.
The dates are the second in a series of tour announcements from Illy taking place each fortnight between now and his upcoming performance at Splendour In The Grass. Two weeks ago, Illy kicked it all off with a series of regional WA dates throughout August.
“So as promised here’s the 2nd round of tour dates for the Cinematic regional tour,” Illy wrote to fans today. “VICTORIA, you’re up. Been ages since I’ve played some of these spots so I’m psyched to get back! Next lot of dates drops in 2 weeks!!”
Illy’s fourth studio album Cinematic debuted at number 4 on the ARIA album chart whenit dropped back in November. Tickets for his regional Victoria tour go on sale Thursday 19th June at 9am.
