After promising they would play “until they tell us to shut the fuck up,” the Foo Fighters concluded their headlining set at the recent Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Delaware with a series of bar band staples. The Foos performed covers ranging from hard rock classics to ’70s Rolling Stones hits.

As Rolling Stone reports, the band performed their only gig currently scheduled for the US summer to a crowd of 80,000 fans, who eagerly lapped up 16-song set packed with Foos classics, including This is a Call, Monkey Wrench, Generator, and a Dave Grohl solo version of Times Like These.

Returning to the stage for an encore, Grohl addressed the crowd: “We’re gonna do something we’ve never done before… for the next 20 minutes, we’re a bar band called The Holy Shits that plays classic rock songs.” The Shits opened with Alice Cooper‘s School’s Out, before running through The Rolling Stones’ Miss You, Van Halen‘s Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love, and Queen‘s Under Pressure.

According to Billboard, guitarist Chris Shiflett played the entire set in an office chair, which Dave Grohl explained was the result of an injury: “Chris broke his foot, or his ankle or something, but he came out here to play for you guys anyway. You know how you did it? By being fucking old.”
