Disclosure Respond To Madonna Collaboration Rumours

Disclosure have responded to the rumours surrounding a potential collaboration between the two Lawrence brothers and Madonna. Chatter was sparked last month after Madge posted images of herself and the UK EDM duo sharing good times during the Governors Ball festival to Instagram.

“She came to our gig at Governors Ball,” Howard Lawrence told Billboard, “and within a few hours, there were articles being written about how we were producing her album — and we had met her that day. How could we even have done that?” Though Madonna had previously shared images of herself with artists confirmed to be appearing on her next album, including Diplo and Natalia Kills.

The Howard brothers simply described the notoriously hard-working pop legend as “really cool” and “very chill,” and didn’t say whether or not a collaboration is on the horizon. Though knowing Madge’s knack for seeking out the best producers in the game, rumours will most likely persist.

Madonna confirmed back in February that work has begun on what will be her 13th studio album and the follow-up to 2012’s MDNA. Having used everyone from Benny Benassi, to Timbaland as beat muses, the new album is set to utilise contemporary dance floor giants, including Avicii.
