Australia is so smitten with soul-pop sensation Meg Mac that two of the recently announced shows from her upcoming national tour in Melbourne and Sydney have already sold out. Thankfully the young chanteuse has added two more dates in these cities this October.
The 23-year-old singer-songwriter is gearing up to release her debut EP, MEGMAC, slated to drop Friday, 12th September which will coincide with a now sold out performance at the Newtown Social Club.
To give Sydney punters another go at catching her live show, Meg Mac will return to the city to play the Oxford Art Factory on Saturday, October 11th. After also selling out her show Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club, Meg will also play at Howler on Friday, October 24th.
Meg’s tour will also include performances in Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide. With acclaim for the singer pouring in from around the globe, spurred on by her recent coveted performance on triple j’s Like A Version, we suggest snapping up these tickets quick-smart.
Tickets to the new shows go on sale 10am Thursday, 7th August.
UPDATE 02/09/14: Meg Mac will also play at The Telstra Spiegeltent on Sunday, 21st September as part of the upcoming Brisbane Festival, following the cancellation of Seattle singer-songwriter Damien Jurado’s Australian tour.
