Tycho is the latest act to leak their place on the upcoming Falls Festival 2014/2015 lineup and the first to leak their spot on the lineup of Southbound 2015. The Californian electronic producer currently has the dates for Falls and Southbound listed under the tour section of his website.
The ambient producer, real name Scott Hansen, released his fourth full-length effort, Awake, earlier this year and is labelmates with the likes of similarly lauded electronic acts such as Matthew Dear and Gold Panda. Hansen will perform at Falls and Southbound as part of his Awake Tour.
The noticeably excited producer took to his social media channels to celebrate his upcoming Australian tour dates. Hansen wrote on Twitter and Facebook that he is “finally heading back to Australia” and will be continuing the Awake World Tour with the Falls and Southbound performances.
Earlier this month, Spiderbait drummer Kram told Gold Coast outlet Blank that part of the band’s touring plans could involve an outing at Falls. “I think there’s talk of doing Falls Festival and we’ll do some other festivals in the summer but we’re happy where things are at the moment,” he said.
The Falls lineup has otherwise been kept under tight wraps by organisers. German duo Milky Chance told Triple J back in June that they were eyeing an Australian festival tour for January.
UPDATE 13/08/14: UK outfit Glass Animals‘ appearance on the upcoming Falls lineup may have also been leaked courtesy of an image that appeared alongside an interview in a magazine.
