Bluesfest 2015 Lineup Announced Next Week

UPDATE 02/09/14: The Bluesfest 2015 lineup has arrived, and it’s another huge one! Details here.

The first of what will assuredly be many lineup announcements for Byron Bay Bluesfest 2015 is set to arrive next Tuesday, 2nd September. Festival director Peter Noble has already promised punters that the Bluesfest 2015 lineup will be one of the beloved blues, roots, and folk festival’s best yet.

“We have one of our best Bluesfest announcements coming to you next week,” said Noble. “It will be an announcement of contemporary artists and some returning favourites, followed a couple of weeks later by the addition of the legendary & renowned artists, with many more to come after that.”

“Every year we climb another level in terms of the artists we are bringing to you… The bar will be raised once again!” Noble said. “I truly believe this year is going to be one of our best ever in terms of famous and quality artists playing as well as welcoming new artists to the mix!”

One of the acts set for 2015 has already been confirmed by organisers. As Music Feeds reported back in September 2013, organisers took to the official Bluesfest forum to announce that Billy Bragg had been booked for Bluesfest 2015 while he was in the country for BIGSOUND 2013.

This year’s Bluesfest was an incredible extravaganza that celebrated 25 years of one of Australia’s grandest and most treasured festival experiences. The lineup was an eclectic, cross-genre mix that featured John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band, Erykah Badu, Gregg Allman, and many more.

Tickets for the festival’s 2015 instalment are already on sale, with organisers warning punters to get in quick as single-day ‘open’ tickets are heading for a sell-out in the next 72 hours. Stay tuned to Music Feeds ’cause we’ll have the Bluesfest 2015 lineup announcement as soon as it drops.
