The Black Seeds Australian Shows Announced

New Zealand dub,reggae and soul outfit The Black Seeds have announced they will return to Australian shores this November, bringing their signature grooves to east coast stages in Sydney and Melbourne.

The Black Seeds will stop by Melbourne’s Prince Bandroom on Thursday, 27th November and then move on to a show at Sydney’s Metro on Friday, 28th November. According to the band’s Facebook page, more Australia shows are soon to be announced.

Since their formation in 1998, the acclaimed Wellington roots band have five studio albums, a live album, and two remix albums under their belts and have carved out a reputation for filling dance floors across the globe for over a decade.

Described by lead guitarist and vocalist Barnaby Weir as “contemporary groove music with influences from soul, funk and reggae rhythms – and even rock”, The Black Seeds will no doubt draw on their rich catalogue of tunes for the upcoming tour, including tracks from their latest release 2012’s Dust And Dirt.
