UPDATE: The full Field Day 2015 lineup has been revealed, confirming SBTRKT, Todd Terje, Alt-J and more!
The organisers of Field Day have confirmed the festival’s return in 2015, unveiling two bizarre promotional videos that may have just clued punters in on who they can expect on the lineup. Readers can check out the two teasers below, which feature music by SBTRKT with Ezra Koenig and Todd Terje, who’s already been confirmed for appearances at Falls and Southbound, which shared acts with Field Day last year.
Meanwhile, Field Day appeared on a set of upcoming tour dates posted to the official website of critically acclaimed hip-hop crew Run The Jewels, along with a string of Falls Festival sideshows. However, Field Day promoters Fuzzy Entertainment have told Music Feeds the duo will not be appearing at the event.
Last year, organisers unveiled a promo titled Why Field Days Exists?, which gave away several clues to the lineup. In addition to featuring music by lineup acts Hermitude and Flume, Alison Wonderland was given a cameo, London Grammar appeared in a poster, and Zola Jesus appeared as a… fruit drink.
Field Day is set to take over Sydney’s Domain on New Year’s Day and punters can expect a stellar lineup as per usual. “We think Field Day has been getting better and better for the past few years. Come and see why we say it’s the nice way to do New Years,” said Fuzzy director John Wall in a statement.
The lineup will drop Wednesday, 24th September so stay tuned to Music Feeds!
