Sydney’s annual New Year’s Day festival, Field Day, will return in 2015 and organisers have just announced the event’s stellar artist lineup, letting eager punters know just who they’ll be partying with when January 1st rolls around.
Confirming rumours following cryptic teaser videos last week, leading the 2015 lineup is Londoner Aaron Jerome, also known as SBTRKT, whose highly anticipated new album Wonder Where We Land is due out this week.
Joining him will be touring favourites alt-J, who will be in the country around that time for slots at the Falls and Southbound Festivals, and who will also be stopping by next month for two intimate Australian shows in support of their latest album, This Is All Yours.
Also appearing at Field Day will be American music producer and DJ Dillon Francis, Sydney indie dance sweethearts RüFüS, UK pop-rock outfit Bastille, English producer Jamie xx, Oxfordshire indie quartet Glass Animals plus Danny Brown, Joey Bada$$, Milky Chance, Salt N Pepa, Action Bronson, Touch Sensitive and a bunch more.
Field Day will once again take over Sydney’s Domain on New Year’s Day and early bird tickets for the event go on sale at midday Tuesday, 30th September until 4pm Tuesday, 14th October or sold out. See the lineup below.
