Knife Party Return For Their ‘Abandon Ship’ December Tour

Just a month away from the release of their anticipated debut album, electro-house duo Knife Party have announced they’ll return to their home turf, Australia, to perform five shows across the country in December 2014.

The critically acclaimed electronic music heavyweights will bring their live shows to Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion this summer on Saturday, 13th December before moving on to venues in Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and will finish up in Perth on Friday, 26th December. Joining Knife Party on tour is Perth drum’n’bass dynamo ShockOne.

Knife Party were last on home turf for a headlining slot on their own curated Haunted House Stage at 2014’s Future Music Festival where they unleashed their Knife Party Presents: Haunted House arena production. This time they’ll be returning with an updated set-up, in celebration of the release of their debut album, Abandon Ship, due to be released late October.

This August they revealed the first taste of their debut album, via the singles Resistance and its follow-up club banger Begin Again. With over 2 million fans on Facebook, 72 million streams on SoundCloud and 53 million views on YouTube these tickets are sure to go fast.

UPDATE 16/11/14: Triple j are reporting that Knife Party have cancelled their upcoming Australian tour, in favour of a headlining slot on the 2015 Future Music Festival line-up.
