Having only just added second shows for Melbourne and Sydney, Ed Sheeran has already announced the addition of third shows for both cities and a second show for Adelaide to meet the enormous demand from fans. The singer-songwriter has now sold out nine dates of his 15-date Australian-New Zealand tour.
Sheeran’s new performances will take place at Sydney’s Qantas Credit Union Arena on Thursday, 26th March, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Monday, 30th March, and the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Thursday, 2nd April. Tickets to the new shows are on sale now and a sure to run out fast so be quick.
The chart-topping Sheeran’s 2015 tour will mark the first time that an artist has embarked on a headline national arena tour solo, the last being the legendary John Denver. Sheeran will be accompanied onstage only by a loop pedal and his acoustic guitar, as well as a raft of unforgettable tunes.
Sheeran’s upcoming Aussie shows will also be a special experience for fans, with every show open to all ages and ticket prices capped at $99 + bf, regardless of whether seats are in the front row or the back. “Ed wanted to ensure that his shows were accessible to all of his fans,” said promoter Michael Gudinski.
