Watch Bill Murray Singing Bob Dylan’s ‘Shelter From The Storm’

Yes, you can now watch American actor Bill Murray sing along to Bob Dylan‘s 1975 song Shelter From The Storm, thanks to a newly-released clip from Murray’s forthcoming appearance in the film St. Vincent (no relation to that other St. Vincent).

In the heartwarming clip below, Murray portrays the grumpy war veteran Vincent as he sneaks outside, retrieves his hidden cigarettes, lights up and proceeds to sing along to the Dylan track playing through his tape deck and their accompanying old-man-style headphones.

A notorious party-goer who’s always up for a song, Murray has been more than happy to show off his vocal chops in the past, with a performance of Roxy Music’s More Than This in the 2003 film Lost in Translation, and another as Liberace on the Late Show With David Letterman. Murray has partied with The Knife and Emma Stone in the past, and is also known to just randomly show up in people’s karaoke rooms.

Murray has also performed alongside guitar legend Eric Clapton, and was even filmed dancing to DJ Snake and Lil Jon’s Turn Down For What earlier this year. Catch both of those videos below, alongside Murray’s charming Bob Dylan performance.

St. Vincent hits Australian cinemas on 26th December, after a US release on 24th October.
