Mariachi El Bronx Announce Australian Headline Shows For 2015

Mariachi El Bronx, the Charro-suited alter ego of LA hardcore punk outfit The Bronx, have announced three Bluesfest 2015 sideshows for fans in Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne. The band will bring tunes from their forthcoming album Mariachi El Bronx (III) to punters with intimate shows next April.

Mariachi El Bronx last toured Australia as part of the 2012 Big Day Out, having played the festival in 2011, after headline and support shows in 2010 and 2009.

When the group return to Australia for Bluesfest 2015, they’ll be sharing the lineup with bands like The Black Keys, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminals, and Ben Howard, to name a few.

Mariachi El Bronx (III) will be released in Australia on Friday, 7th November, and sees the group ditching the Mariachi rulebook and reviving their various sequencers and synthesizers. The Mariachi vibes are as strong as ever, though, and will no doubt be on show during Bluesfest 2015 and at the band’s sideshows.
