Deltron 3030 Announce Debut Australian Tour

Hip hop supergroup Deltron 3030 are bringing the future to Australia, announcing their first-ever headlining tour of our country for February 2015. Deltron 3030 will play The Hi-Fi in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne in addition to The Gov in Adelaide and The Bakery in Perth.

Comprised of Deltron Zero (Del The Funkee Homosapien), Cantankerous Captain Aptos (Dan The Automator), and Skiznod the Boy Wonder (Kid Koala), the supergroup first landed on the scene with their self-titled 2000 debut. 2013’s sophomore album, Event 2, continues the futuristic, apocalyptic narrative established in Deltron 3030

For Event 2, Deltron 3030 recruited Rage Against The Machine frontman Zack De La Rocha and Damon Albarn, among others. The trio previously worked with Albarn on Gorillaz‘s 2001 debut album. Speaking on Event 2, wordsmith Deltron Zero said the group’s second LP was worth the 13-year wait.

“This is beyond a regular album,” claimed Del. “Because I would say, me, Dan and Koala, we aren’t limited by what other rap groups do – we’re musicians first.”
