Perth’s Great Beer And Cider Fair Also Has Great Local Bands

Joondalup’s Central Park Gardens will be put to good use again this November with the return of the Great Beer and Cider Fair, celebrating the best of local and international brews, soundtracked by great local music talent.

After a successful first year in 2013, this year’s event will be held on Saturday, 22nd November, opening at midday and cracking on until 7.00 pm. The local music lineup includes the likes of Death and a Cure’s Ben Blondel, The Moonshine Stills, Cavalier, Hussy, Emu Xperts and Doctopus.

On top of talented local musicians, the fair will feature more than 100 pale ales, golden ales, lagers, IPAs, bitters, stouts and ciders on tap, plus a variety of food vendors, while brewers themselves will be operating the taps to answer all your brew-related questions.

Talks will be held for those keen on learning more about the brewing process, otherwise you can set yourself up for the day in one of the venue’s many cosy nooks and crannies, and commit to a day of beer and cider exploration and some solid tunes.

Tickets to the fair are an easy $29 + bf and included in the price is five free tasting samples. Although it is a licensed event, the fair is a family friendly event and there will be a large activities area set aside for children. Plus, kids under 15 free.
