EXCLUSIVE: Watch Mariachi El Bronx Serenade Their LA Guitar Maker

Mariachi El Bronx, the charro-suited reincarnation of LA punks The Bronx, know that authentic mariachi music needs authentic mariachi instruments. The latest installment of the group’s Sonos Studio mini-series sees them buttering up their beloved LA guitar maker with some sweet, sweet music.

Mariachi El Bronx’s behind-the-scenes video (below) captures their day at Candelas Guitars, a family owned company which the band describe as “a really special place that’s kind of a hidden gem”. The group set aside some time to play, performing an unplugged rendition of Wildfires from their latest album Mariachi El Bronx (III).

Previous episodes in Mariachi El Bronx’s mini-series have included a look at the creation of Mariachi El Bronx (III), hosted by Kerrang, and another in the store of their Charro suit maker, over at Nuvo TV.

Mariachi El Bronx are preparing to make the journey to Australian shores in April for Bluesfest 2015, as well as their own sideshows in Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne.
