Watch Soundgarden Debut A ‘Superunknown’-Era Song Live In Sydney

Soundgarden have been gifting their Aussie fans with some rarities during the 2015 Soundwave Festival tour, and last night the band delivered another at their Sydney sidewave, performing Fell On Black Days B-side Kyle Petty, Son Of Richard live for the very first time.

Footage of Kyle Petty‘s live debut has now emerged online, and is available in all its never-before-seen-live goodness below. Fell On Black Days, of course, appeared on Soundgarden’s classic 1994 album Superunknown.

Last weekend, Soundgarden performed Birth Ritual, a track from the soundtrack to the movie Singles, at the Melbourne and Adelaide legs of Soundwave, the first times the track has been played live since 1992.

Following Soundwave, which wraps up in Sydney and Brisbane this weekend, Soundgarden say they will begin work on their next album.

Watch Soundgarden tear into Kyle Petty, Son Of Richard for the first time ever in the video below, alongside some choice photos from their Sydney show, plus read our full review of the night here.
