Disco icon Giorgio Moroder has announced he will play two solo headline shows in Australia this March alongside his appearances as special guest for Kylie Minogue’s upcoming Kiss Me Once Australian tour.
The four-time Grammy Award-winning electro disco pioneer will play Melbourne’s Trak Live Lounge Bar on Wednesday, 25th March and will follow that up in Sydney on Thursday, 26th March at the Metro Theatre. He will also make a stop in Auckland at The Studio on Friday, 27th March.
These dates will follow Moroder’s appearance as a special guest on Kylie Minogue’s Australian tour. The pair recently teamed up for the danceable track, Right Here, Right Now taken from Moroder’s forthcoming star-studded studio album which will be his first full-length in over 30 years.
The as-yet-untitled release is due to be released later this year and features collaborations with other big name pop stars and dance artists like Britney Spears, Sia, Charlie XCX, Mikky Ekko, Foxes and more.
