Comedy legends Cheech & Chong are set to return to Australia for a national tour this year covering all their greatest moments in comedy and music.
The stoner pairing of Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong will touch down in Australia for five dates as part of their Up In Smoke – The Greatest Hits Tour.
The tour celebrates nearly four decades since the release of their first comedy film Up In Smoke which was released in 1978 and went on to become the highest grossing comedy of that year with over $100 million made at the box office. Since then they’ve churned out over 10 albums and eight movies. A sequel to Up In Smoke is also on the way.
The pair went on hiatus in the late 1980’s right through to 2008 when they reunited for their first tour in over 25 years. They last came to Australia in 2009 for their Cheech & Chong Light Up Australia Tour.
You can expect a career-spanning performance this time round with the best moments from their movies, stand-up and music performed live on stage.
