Tyler, The Creator’s New Album ‘Cherry Bomb’ Will Arrive Next Week

The follow-up to Odd Future leader Tyler, The Creator‘s 2013 album Wolf will be released next week. The album, titled Cherry Bomb, is already available for pre-order on iTunes.

Pre-ordering the album will reportedly allows you two download two new tracks, DeathCamp and Fucking Young/Perfect. According to Complex, the albums’ 11th track is a song that features both Lil Wayne and Kanye West.

News of the album arrived alongside Tyler The Creator’s Golf Media app, which is available for download now and is said to feature original content, including music from the Odd Future leader.

According to the iTunes store description from Tyler, “Golf Media is basically my brain in one place. It does just about everything except cure asthma. If you find an app that cures asthma, definitely let me know.”

Speaking to The Fader, Tyler’s manager Christian Clancy said, “It’s a bunch of different things that are original, curated and constantly changing. Original series, content, live streaming, radio, tour stuff, Golf Wang, interactive and whatever other buzzwords that sound mildly annoying and marketing-like.”

Tyler, the Creator now joins a legion of artists responsible for (almost) surprise r’n’b and rap album releases in 2015, following in the footsteps of Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Earl Sweatshirt – who accused his label of “fucking up” his album release last month.

Tyler, The Creator will perform at Coachella this weekend. With a new album under his belt and a clear tour scheduled right around late July, that puts him in the perfect position to make his way to Australia in time for Splendour 2015.

UPDATE 6:00pm AEST 9/04/15: Tyler has also just dropped online two tracks from the semi-surprise album, DEATHCAMP and FUCKING YOUNG/PERFECT. Strap yourselves in, you know a ride with Tyler is always a delightfully rocky (and deliciously filthy) one. (Actually, FUCKING YOUNG/PERFECT is surprisingly smooth, get amongst it below).
