In Hearts Wake Have Teamed Up With Their Mates For A Huge Charity Auction

Some of Australia’s best-loved musos (and a few much-loved international acts) have teamed up to raise money for two local charities, by auctioning off some unique and super-collectible items.

Announced today, and led by Byron Bay post-hardcore band In Hearts Wake, the auction includes items donated by the likes of local acts The Amity Affliction, Hellions, Northlane, Dead Letter Circus, Illy, Vance Joy and, of course, In Hearts Wake.

International do-gooders The Ghost Inside, Enter Shikari, Stick To Your Guns and Hacktivist have also shared some prized memorabilia, as have In Hearts Wake’s Aussie label, UNFD.

As for the items on offer, think autographed posters, vinyl test-pressings, signed drum skins, limited edition prints and more. There’s even an autographed Stick To Your Guns skateboard up for grabs. To view the current list of items, visit the UNFD website.

Proceeds from the auction, which begins 12pm AEST Friday, 17th April, will go to the non-profit organisation Local Futures, a group working to safeguard communities’ ecological and social well-being, and also Byron Young Residents Alliance, who help to ensure the environmental and social protection of In Hearts Wake’s hometown.

“Byron Bay is currently under threat from the impact of mass development and BYRA is a vessel for those who wish to keep Byron sustainable and preserve its pre-existing culture,” says In Hearts Wake vocalist, Jake Taylor.

The band’s charity auction can be accessed via the UNFD website, with more sale items to be added to the list as the auction draws nearer.

In Hearts Wake are set to tour nationally in May/June, in support of their forthcoming album, Skydancer.
