Get ready to squeal “YAAAS” & “YAAAAAAAS”, because Aussie/Brit electro-pop babes Years & Years have today announced some Australian sideshows for their upcoming visit for Splendour in the Grass 2015.
The fresh-faced trio have had an epic first few months as a band, winning the much-hyped BBC Sound of 2015 title, known for its super prescient ability to pick (and ultimately make) bands destined for greatness.
Their most recent single King was a UK #1 for awhile and continues to dance around the Aussie charts, currently sitting at number six on the iTunes singles chart after recent plays on commercial radio and a TV promotion.
The lads’ eagerly awaited (which is saying something for a newcomer) debut album Communion is set to drop mid-June, which means we’ll be copping one of the first few live performances of juicy new Years & Years goodness.
