Cold Chisel To Perform Last Ever Sydney Entertainment Centre Gig

Cold Chisel have today been announced as the band given the honours of performing the last ever Aussie gig at Sydney’s Qantas Credit Union Arena (or as only true ’90s kids know it, the former Sydney Entertainment Centre) before it gets all blowed up as part of the Darling Harbour refurbishment.

The iconic Aussie rock outfit will perform the ‘Last Stand’ gig at the arena on Friday December 18th to farewell the old girl, which has housed countless performances from the world’s biggest artists since it opened in 1983.

Frontman and true blue bloody Aussie legend Jimmy Barnes says the Chisel are pumped to be the final act the stage will see noting, “having finished our Last Stand tour there in the year the venue opened, it’s great to now be playing at their Last Stand. We’re gonna tear the place to the ground.”

At the request of the Chisel lads tickets will be set at the same price as their last appearance at the Entertainment Centre four years ago, of $99.90 for GA standing and $129.90 for raised seating. Tickets go on sale to Cold Chisel mailing list members May 6th, with general public sales opening May 8th. Grab the deets below!
