Weird Al Yankovic’s Australian Tour Is Coming At The End Of The Year

Although he pretty much went ahead and leaked the fact it was happening earlier this year, the world’s number one musical satirist, Weird Al Yankovic, has today confirmed that the trip to Australia and New Zealand is 100% happening at the end of the year.

Taking to Facebook Weird Al posted the following, albeit weirdly ordered, confirmation of the tour, “Oz/NZ tour officially confirmed for the end of the year – Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Christchurch, Adelaide, and more!”. Although I suppose if anyone is going to follow a decidedly odd tour pattern, it’d be Weird Al.

The Mandatory World Tour will see Yankovic performing his lol-filled tracks from last year’s album Mandatory Fun, which featured such epic parodies of hit tunes such as Iggy Azalea’s Fancy, Lorde’s Royals, and a grammatically correct reinterpretation of Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines.

Stay tuned for full dates and ticket details to be announced any day now.
