King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have announced yet another Gizzfest, this time in Geelong. The event will be the final Gizzfest event of 2015.
Taking to Facebook today, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard revealed that the Geelong leg of Gizzfest will take place on 7th June. The band say the event will be their “final show before we leave for ages” — and by that they mean before they leave to tour Europe, Canada and the US.
Gizzfest, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard’s newly-created festival, was launched in support of the band’s latest album, Quarters. The band have described the mini-festival as “their most ambitious and freaked out national headline tour yet”.
Geelong’s Gizzfest celebrations will take place at the Barwon Club Hotel, and will features the likes of The Murlocs, Orb, Mock Turkey and Facetime. View the event’s full lineup alongside ticket details, below.
