Sticky Fingers Cancel UK Shows To “Take A Step Back And Look After Each Other”

Less than a week after closing out their run at Groovin The Moo 2015 with what was by our accounts a stellar performance in Maitland, Sydney’s alternative rock sons Sticky Fingers are taking a “step back” from the live circuit.

Citing “personal reasons within the band”, the fivesome have revealed that they are cancelling all of their upcoming UK tour dates scheduled for this month, bar one, “to take a step back and look after each other like a proper band should”.

Their full Facebook statement reads:

“We feel rough to let you know all upcoming UK dates are now cancelled, bar the last London show May 24. This is due to personal reasons within the band. Right now we’ve felt the need to to take a step back and look after each other like a proper band should. Sorry lads & laddettes. Much love from us all.”

Fans met the news with an outpouring of support for the five Fingers bros, with many choice words of love being offered up.

“Caress your soul boys,” remarked one fan.

“Bros before shows,” offered another.

Even the fine folk at Groovin The Moo have backed the lads’ decision, writing simply, “moo loves you xxx”. Take care of yourselves lads.
