Reports are emerging that Noiseworks frontman and former Dead Daisies vocalist Jon Stevens has been involved in a road accident in Sydney where he allegedly hit an elderly man with his car.
According to Yahoo, Stevens is believed to have been driving a car that struck an elderly man in Sydney’s Point Piper today. The 69-year-old man was reportedly taken to St Vincents Hospital and is in a stable condition.
He is expected to be released tonight. Yahoo are also reporting that Stevens left his car to aid the man, was questioned by police and has been released, pending further inquiries.
Earlier this year, Stevens was charged with assault following an altercation with his fiancee, Jodhi Meares. Last month, police dropped the assault charges against Stevens, after not being able to gather enough evidence.
