P. Diddy Arrested Over Alleged Assault With A Deadly Kettlebell

Sean P. Diddy Combs has been arrested and charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon, after allegedly swinging a kettlebell at his son’s football coach, following a disagreement at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA).

According to a University press release cited by Time Magazine, the rap mogul was detained behind bars on the west LA college campus following an altercation with strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi, who trains Diddy’s son, Justin Combs, who attends UCLA on a football scholarship.

Diddy stands accused of swinging the kettlebell – a heavy exercise weight with a handle – at Alosi, which one source at UCLA told TMZ “could have killed him”, had it connected.

However, no-one was actually injured in the incident, which is now being investigated by college police.

Diddy, meanwhile, has been transferred to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for processing.

TMZ also claims to have since made contact with the rapper’s people, who are adamant that Diddy actually acted in self defence.

According to “sources connected with Diddy”, the rap superstar believed that Alosi had an issue with his son, whom the coach had apparently been “riding badly”, and went to confront him in his office about it.

Alosi then threatened to call security, so Diddy threatened to call the police, at which point the coach allegedly “snapped” and came at Diddy with his hands.

It was only then that Diddy reached for the kettlebell, holding it up in a defensive position, allegedly to block Alosi’s onslaught.

“This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved,” UCLA’s football coach Jim Mora said in a statement.

“While the campus police continue to review this matter, we will let the legal process run its course and refrain from further comment at this time.”

We’ll bring you more on the story as it unfolds.

P. Diddy, meanwhile, has also recently changed his name back to Puff Daddy, just to confuse everyone.
