Tame Impala Drop Behind The Scenes Video Of The Making Of ‘Currents’

We’re just weeks away from the release of Tame Impala‘s much anticipated new album, Currents, and to make that waiting time even more excruciating, the band have shared a short behind-the-scenes video, soundtracked by a previously un-released track from the album.

Directed by Matt Sav and Tame Impala frontman Kevin Parker, the clip is actually less a process video and more a montage of Kevin Parker, and his free-flowing, luscious locks, twinkling away with various instruments, set against a magnificent natural vista.

The track you’re hearing in the background, according to Stereogum, is Nangs, a short interlude that appears at the beginning of Currents.

You’ll be able to hear the whole track for yourself when Currents arrives on 17th July and again when the retro rockers return to our shores to play Splendour In The Grass. In the meantime, watch Kevin Parker, in his element, below.
