Brisbane-based indie outfit The Belligerents have taken to the triple j studios this morning to perform a fuzzed-up cover of the Fatboy Slim classic Praise You, for the broadcaster’s weekly covers segment, Like A Version.
The Belligerents’ Praise You cover (below) stayed true to the bouncy rhythms and instantly recognisable samples of the original, but added some piercing vocals, extra guitar fuzz and, of course, extra cowbell — because you can never have too much cowbell.
