Tom DeLonge Is Now Releasing A Novel Called ‘Poet Anderson… Of Nightmares’

Will anyone ever have their finger in as many pies as ex-Blink 182 member Tom Delonge? Delonge has announced that he and best-selling young adult author Suzanne Young will release a book titled Poet Anderson… Of Nightmares in October.

The book is the first in a planned trilogy and follows the tale of two brothers in a quest for meaning after the death of their parents, in which they stumble upon a Dream World of ‘shared consciousness.’

According to publishers Simon & Schuster, in the dream world, “fear comes to life as a snarling beast called Night Terror and a creature named REM is bent on destruction and misery, devouring the souls of the strongest dreamers.” So you know, some light reading.

After a tumultuous split with the other members of Blink-182 earlier this year, DeLonge has announced and embarked upon many creative projects including solo LP’s, a collection of other novels and various multimedia projects.

Poet Anderson… Of Nightmares is already available to pre-order in a range of multimedia packages, including the companion EP by Angels and Airwaves via DeLonge’s production company, To the Stars.

The novel will be released via publisher Simon & Schuster on 6th October.
