Beyond The Valley Festival Is Back For Round 2

Part music festival, part New Years Eve party Beyond The Valley is returning for its sophomore year in 2015.

This time around the action will be set against the picturesque backdrop of Gippsland Parklands, situated 90 minutes drive from Melbourne City, and will run across three New Year-straddling days: December 29th to January 1st.

Following its hugely successful debut event, which saw punters ring in 2014 with over 70 killer acts, Beyond The Valley is promising a “cultural and sensory experience that will go unparalleled in Australia” at this year’s instalment, which will again be spread across two stages.

“We are stoked to bring Beyond The Valley back in 2015 and to have found a new, permanent home for our festival – the Gippsland Parklands is the perfect backdrop to bring in the New Year!” said festival head, Nicholas Greco.

“We have worked tirelessly since our inaugural event last year to improve on every area of the event and to ensure that we are able to deliver the absolute best experience to our festival goers. We received such an amazing response from last year and we can’t wait to do it all again with an even bigger lineup.”

Last year’s lineup included appearances by Allday, Peking Duk, Hermitude and The Preatures, and this year’s bill is due to be unveiled in the coming weeks

Eager punters can register for the three-day camping ticket pre-sale right now via the festival’s website, with two-day ticket passes to go on sale next month.

UPDATE 20/07/15: Our mates at BTV have secured us some exclusive pics of the brand new site to amp us up even further for this year’s NYE celebrations.

“The diversity of our new site allows us to augment an experience not dissimilar to the biggest festival brands abroad,” organisers tell us. “A large natural amphitheatre on site will accommodate for our main area, playing host to thousands of festival goers over three days, and of course some of the greatest national and international artists around. These beautiful lakeside parklands offer the perfect summer landscape and one within which we hope to provide the perfect outlet for your individual expression.”
