Brisbane may be missing out on Soulfest 2015 but the organisers have lined-up a sweet consolation with a bunch of huge sideshows.
Three sideshows have been locked in with Mary J. Blige, Ms Lauryn Hill and Black Star all set to play headline shows in the Queensland capital.
The good news doesn’t stop there though. All three have lined-up formidable support acts, each plucked from the Soulfest 2015 lineup.
Mary J. Blige will be supported by American soul legend Jill Scott while Ms Lauryn Hill will have US R&B crooner Eric Benet open for her. Black Star, who are made up of American hip-hop’s finest Mos Def and Talib Kweli, will be doing it solo.
