BIGSOUND 2015‘s huge live lineup just got a little bit, ah, huger, with the addition of two rising Aussie acts who have made it through the ranks of triple j‘s Unearthed competition.
Joining the annual music industry showcase’s massive September lineup are Brisbane shoegaze and noise pop act Deafcult and emerging hip hop artist Gill Bates. To get a taste of what they both have to offer, check out the tracks below.
Both Deafcult and Gill Bates will get to perform live at triple j‘s Unearthed BIGSOUND showcases, alongside the likes of Holy Holy, Tired Lion and Crepes. What’s more, triple j has named the BIGSOUND acts who will performing at its showcases. See the full schedule over at the triple j website.
Aside from the tunes, punters heading to this year’s BIGSOUND will also get to hear from a list of industry speakers, including Midnight Oil frontman Peter Garrett and Pitchfork‘s Jessica Hopper.
