Mark your calendars — Melbourne’s Sugar Mountain Festival has announced its 2016 return, locking itself in for Saturday, 23rd January 2016.
Sugar Mountain Festival 2016 will once again take place at the Victorian College of the Arts, with the lineup to be announced “soon”, according to organisers.
Sugar Mountain took a year off in 2014, but returned in January 2015 with a kick-ass lineup featuring the likes of US rapper Nas, guitar duo Body/Head, Seattle electronic wizards Odesza, singer-songwriter Ariel Pink, noise fiends Swans and local outfit King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.
This year’s Sugar Mountain lineup began to unveil itself in October 2014, so there shouldn’t be too much longer to wait until 2016’s sure-to-be-equally-kick-ass lineup is upon us.
